LOL Manager traffic

I'm sure it's has been noticeable, there is a significant uptake in users as well as a lot of traffic from the recent launch which is causing a significant slow down of the game. I am certain the dev team are working hard to fix the issues at hand and the game will be running smooth in no time.

Just a bit of context here, using web analytics tools you can see the game is seeing 10x it's normal traffic in the space of a day or so.
There is also a lot of traffic from the US, making up nearly 30% of the web traffic. Average visitor duration is also at about 11 minutes 37 seconds, which is quite high for a standard webpage.

It's totally understandable, as soon as I saw the Reddit post I knew it would be hugged to death :(

Just want make it clear that this web traffic increase is exceptional especially in such a short space of time and the dev's are all over it.

Doing a lot better than Niantic right now.

Heya guys,

Have you thought about implementing something like Fastly?

I use that for a few web applications + websites for the company I work for.

Worked out cheaper running through that then extending our servers.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will look into it.
