Better Promotion
While I am aware that there has been suggestions for a playoff stage at the end of a season, I would like to expand that idea with my little own thought: Better Promotion.
More specifically, a promotion tournament.
I don't really like the idea of having the system of auto promotion and demotion. I believe that the better teams should stay in the upper brackets, while the weaker teams should stay in the lower brackets, until they develop into a stronger team.
The current system we have is 4 bottom teams get demoted, and 4 randomly selected winners from the lower divisions get to replace those spots.
So my two-cent is that, the bottom teams from the upper division would get a chance to play a best-of-5 series against the team that has been randomly selected to replace its spot. The winner would go to the upper division, loser would go to the lower division, and the teams in the divisions would be shuffled, ensuring that we won't have to play in the same league from last season and giving many teams that has struggled in a tough league a chance.
P.S: To add on top of the playoff suggestions from fellow peeps in this forum, a league playoffs should be double elimination best-of-3's, to absolutely ensure that the BEST of the best teams gets the chance.
The series should happen in one day, at a game every 8 hours, not one game per day (imo, that would take too long for a playoff to finish.)
Sorry for this long (probably grammar-error-littered) and dreadful of a topic.
