As it stands right now, there are no penalties for being in the negative, money-wise. You can still keep getting strong academy players since it doesn't stop you after you're in the negative. Case in point https://www.lolmanager.gg/teams/show/41095, this dude has been showing off his 23 midlaner and 25 toplaner on the marketplace, which he obtained by gathering a staggering -160k debt. But why should he care? He's getting super strong players and there are no penalties or interests on the debt. Do you guys agree that this seems strange? :)

Yes it seems unreasonable right now, but I believe devs will do something for that in the future. Multiples sugestions have been made, such as losing reputation, losing staff and not being able to do anything (which is almost the case i believe now)

There are ways of getting around not being able to hire new academy players when you are in debt which is the main thing that needs to be fixed.
