The new teamfighting system makes it a lot easier for the losing team to turtle now soaking up all the minions until the game ends. He was up 18 kills to 15 when he started taking inhibs, trapped you in your base and pretty much decided the game.

It just seems like whenever a team who is pushed in aces the other team they do not push out, they back instead, also it seems like there is no respawn time

I was soo surprised when i saw this too. I guess i started grouping earlier than you and just pushed like crazy. I watched the replay and it basically showed that we were quite even till 15 minutes in and then my team started suiciding for towers. You lost 1 nexus turret at like 20 minutes in and after that my team just kept going mid to try and get the other tower. That's how you got so many kills and gold.
