I'm kinda tired of waiting a whole day to get a notification that someone outbid me on the staff i wanted to recruit, can't we just bid on it like player, and get notified when we have been overbid ? I have to wait a whole new day, praying that my proposition is enough now.

true, bidding on staff is super annoying atm. On a sidenote: people bid like 15K on one coach. Is this real life?
They are working on a solution already.

I got a nice staff from my bids this time around so not complaining but it would be nice to have player market type bidding and maybe have the system send messages back from the coaches themselves like You don't have a high enough reputation for me to join you things of that nature.

Lucky you, i proposed 3k (which is a lot already imo) and got overbid by someone who bid 10k... 10k per day xD

Strategy for day 1 avoid 10's but have lots of 9's bid 1.5k = Win

It'd be interesting to have a 'Buy Now' option so that people aren't completely blind when bidding on coaches/people don't spend all their money on some bad coach

Is there anyway to adjust it in the coding, that rather than firing the initial players who are generally far worse than academy players, you could instead swap them to a coach role for the same wage? For all intents and purposes, they do utilize the same visible stats, although obviously I don't know how differently the system interprets them, but it could be a decent way of establishing a baseline staff with the bidding system being so volatile.
It also logically makes some level of sense with an older and lesser player eventually moving on to coaching, and with the baseline stats being so poor, it's not exactly creating overpowered staff. Not sure how you'd be able to limit it to just the starting players, as you could theoretically do the same thing with academy players, but it's just a basic idea.

With 5 bids a day between 1k and 2k on staff, i still have no coach in my team cause i always get outbid. It's marvelous to get behind again and again.
So i guess i will do like every unlucky guys like me, bid like 2.5k on 5 coach in the hope of getting at least one, and if i get most of them i will get bankrupt firing somes. Yay.

Thats pretty bad luck whiden.. I got my 5 coaches 4 days after the release and none of the wages are above 1,25k

Yes... and the worst of it is i stopped try to get 10 stat coach, i settle for 9 in the hope that they are less wanted :( . But i really hate that bidding system.

Considering the amount of coaches now on the market it should be a lot easier to get a coach today.

Yo, I feel ya. I bid on the same guy at 1500, and when I saw the 10k, I just said NOPE.
I'm trying to grab coaches strategically now instead of just going for the best ones.
