Joining the weekly tournament is literally free Money. Even if you get out in the first round, that is still about as much money as you would make from a mid tier sponsor over the course of a week. Then you can spend your free money to get more sponsors or streamers or w/e.
Money should be priority 1 until you are ready to build a team to push.

Thanks for the reminder. I used to check the tournaments section before and since I was uneligible to join any for some time, I sort of forgot about them. Looks like I can join now tho;

They are open during the week, then close Thursday. There should always be a tournament you can join regardless of your rank/tier

I just read this and checked out the tournaments tab, the only one that was joinable was the 'Pro Weekly' so i clicked it anyway. I started 3 or 4 days ago so i imagine 'Rookie' was more my range but i was ineligible?

Unfortunately, player base is so small, that it almost immediately forces you into the “pro” level tournament (it is based on your division), but don’t feel bad about losing, you get more money getting dead last in the pro than you do for winning the rookie tournament.
