Looking at replays (and I know it's experimental), it seems like there's a lot of randomness to it and some strange things. I've seen ADCs run behind enemies to kill towers, I've seen 5 man clear a wave in their base and lose the game from not defending quick enough, most late game team fights end up as both teams aced, etc. If this stuff is a factor of it being experimental, disregard this post, but as of now, it seems like most of the early advantages teams get don't actually matter whatsoever.

Yeah, its true. The simulation after the laning phase is really odd. According to the feature list, they are already on it. The laning phase feels OK, though.
It seems ok if the game is fair. I have seen my botlane constently feeding to the enemy support alone. My bot lane lost a fight, their adc went back in base and my botlane came back, and died under turret against their support whithout trying to flee. That was awkward.

Either you had your botlane on terrible champions or they don't have very good stats I would guess.
