I have this too. I assumed it was just a way for the Devs to give a big "F YOU" to achievement seekers.

Facing the same issue - waiting on the fix.

I mean... probably not the ideal fix but, you could always just remove the achievement? They don't add much currently, and with the new introduction reward thing, they aren't required to direct new players.
