#14 Champion Splash Art reveal - the Rock. Community storyline contest inside.

Meet the Rock. Did you know his monthly food budget is only $1300?

Same old info & rules:
It's one of the many splash arts we are revealing (officially). We'll reveal one champion splash art a day until we are out of stock. Since we are going to make custom champion pages with their own short background stories, stats, strengths and weaknesses, we decided to involve our beloved community.
So here's the contest for the Rock’s background story. Don't make it too long, one decent paragraph (around 5-10 sentences?) would be enough. The most upvoted useable story will (probably) get its place on the champion's page with your name added under it. We still have the rights to decide if it's suitable or not, just to prevent the 4chan treatment of public contests.

My try at the lore:
Dwayne Douglas Johnson (born May 2, 1972), also known by his ring name The Rock, is an American actor, producer, singer, and professional wrestler who holds American and Canadian citizenship.

Born in California and raised between New Zealand and the U.S. states of Hawaii and Pennsylvania, Johnson was a college football player for the University of Miami, where he won a national championship on the 1991 Miami Hurricanes football team. He later played for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League and was cut two months into the 1995 season. This led him to become a professional wrestler like his grandfather, Peter Maivia, and his father, Rocky Johnson, from whom he also inherited his Canadian citizenship.[7]

Currently signed to WWE on a part-time contract, Johnson gained mainstream fame in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) from 1996 to 2004 as a major figure in the company's Attitude Era, and was the first third-generation wrestler in the company's history. He returned to wrestling part-time for WWE from 2011 to 2013 and continues to make sporadic non-wrestling appearances for the company. Johnson has 17 championship reigns in WWE, including 10 as a world champion, winning the WWF/WWE Championship eight times (seventh reign was as WWE Undisputed Champion) and the WCW/World Championship twice. He won the WWF Intercontinental Championship twice and the WWF Tag Team Championship five times. Johnson is the sixth Triple Crown Champion in WWE history and won the 2000 Royal Rumble. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.[8]

Johnson's autobiography The Rock Says..., co-written with Joe Layden, was published in 2000. It debuted at No. 1 on The New York Times Best Seller list, spent 20 weeks on The New York Times bestseller list and sold 720,000 copies in hardcover alone.[9][10] Johnson's first leading film role was in The Scorpion King in 2002. For this role, he was paid US $5.5 million, a world record for an actor in his first starring role.[11] He has since appeared in various films, and become known for his ability to reinvigorate film franchises. Perhaps his greatest success in his acting career can be sourced to his role as Luke Hobbs in The Fast and the Furious franchise. He hosted and produced The Hero, a reality competition series; and has since continued to produce TV series and films through his production company Seven Bucks Productions, each of which he also stars in. Forbes listed Johnson No. 25 in the Top 100 Most Powerful Celebrities in 2013.[12] He is the world's highest-paid actor of 2016.[13] Time named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2016.[14] In 2015, Muscle & Fitness named Johnson their "Man of the Century".[15]

The Rock, once a great athlete who had an appreciation for the outdoors and a penchant for dangerous territory, now a powerful lithanthrope after a tragic hiking accident. Whilst traveling through the mountains of Ukraine, The Rock attempted to make a pass by the infamous Chernobyl, the tragic site of the USSR nuclear meltdown. In the mountains south west of the city, while climbing down a particularly steep slope, The rock failed to watch his footing, and was caught by surprise as a wild radiated piece of housing rubble bit into his right calf. (Radiated housing material was not known to migrate this far south west, and so he had assumed his safety)
Fighting to survive, with a now disabled leg, The Rock scrambled to get a shelter and small fire together, and hope to wait for rescuers to come find him. Days passed, and the wound on his leg grew worse. The flesh turned a sickly clay color and developed a chalky feel to the touch. without food, without water, and now without the use of a leg, The Rock was truly stranded.
Years passed, and stories formed of large manboulders wandering in the trees before The Rock finally emerged from the wilderness, his flesh turned to stone, but his need for competition just as strong as ever. Having trouble entering civilization and finding any form of fair competition, The Rock instead turned to the Moba League, where maybe other champions of strange circumstance could face his might...

(I tried really hard to come up with something serious. but every time i looked at the splash art of Dwayne Johnson as a rock, I just couldn't do it.)

Might makes majesty and might makes right. The Western Frontiers are a land of little authority. Alliances do not last long and every ounce of authority only exists as long as it is accompanied by a good deal of force. It is no surprise that circumstances like this would inspire a culture of masculinity and strength. The Rock being the very embodiment of that culture.

Famed for his size and power from a very young age, his parents sought to exploit that and set him to be trained to be a great fighter. The strongest in the land by the time he came of age. He took part in many challenges and never walked away a loser. Humble in victory, and willing to exercise grace if he would ever be defeated.

The Western Frontiers wasn't populated by warriors only, it was a hotbed for wizards and witches, seeking to practice their arts free from the control of others. The Rock's abilities damned him quite quickly, as the dark magicians of the frontiers always wanted new minions.

In the cover of night, the Evil Master came upon his home. Utilizing the dark arts he had mastered, he cast charm and charm upon The Rock until he succumbed. No longer did the Rock know honor, he only knows the will of the Evil Master now.
