Don't worry too much about it right now, the game is in a beta/testing phase and I'm sure every beta tester will get an oportunity for a fresh start soon.
Try using this time figuring out strategies and knowing the game, finding bugs and giving out suggestions, you will be rewarded once the game starts in an "open" state.
