Same old info & rules: It's one of many splash arts we are revealing (officially). We'll reveal one champion splash art a day until we are out of stock. Since we are going to make custom champion pages with their own short background stories, stats, strengths and weaknesses, we decided to involve our beloved community. So here's the contest for Grandmaster's background story. Don't make it too long, one decent paragraph (around 5-10 sentences?) would be enough. The most upvoted useable story will (probably) get its place on the champion's page with your name added under it. We still have the rights to decide if it's suitable or not, just to prevent the 4chan treatment of public contests.

After watching his parents get slaughtered as a child during a terrifying raid on their village, he escaped and sought refuge in a monastery. This is where he learnt ancient martial arts techniques that were thought to have been extinct.
After decades of training he grew to become the greatest martial arts fighter in all the land, but one challenge eluded him. Revenge!

From the day the prince was born his strength was clear. He was the greatest treasure of the land and coveted by many but despite this the prince felt alone. Girls didn’t want to play with him because he would break their stuff with his muscle and boys wouldn’t let him play because he scared them. His only friend was the courts blacksmith. The prince could listen for hours how he told him stories of his old days as a knight and he even started to teach him how to socialize. His father got furious when he found out. “That’s not how a man acts Yisuo. A man has no time for feelings. I forbid you from ever seeing the Blacksmith again!”. The Blacksmith was sent to go live in the forest. This didn’t stop Yisuo was a resourceful man and taught himself how to kill guards with one hand. One night Yisuo disappeared, immediately his father sent out a search party. The only clue they found was the dead blacksmith with multiple stabs to the stomach and a couple of dead bandits with their heads ripped of. Over the ages his name was forgotten, but people that wandered the forest learned to fear this mountain of a man . They had learned to fear “The Grandmaster”.

The Lotus Coterie was formed in hard times; war had once divided the prosperous nation of Uan, and there was no governing body to unite it. The Lotus Coterie was founded thousands of years ago by seven great warrior-monks - six who leaded the major clans, and the Grandmaster. Though many things have changed, one thing has stayed the same. His name is unclear, but the Grandmaster has been the head of the Coterie since its birth. The Coterie has served as the governing body in Uan now for a millenium, and contrary to its small land mass, it holds a great deal of influence in the world. The Coterie brought on somewhat of a golden age for Uan. This is down to the Grandmaster, who pairs strength of will with brute strength. His delicate strikes can shatter entire armies alone, yet his iron resolve can shatter nations. Little is known of this man - he stays out of the public eye. Some question his intentions, while others trust him vehemently, for he is the symbol of his nation. Praise the Lotus.
Sorry if I went a little overboard there creating lore. I made a flag for Uan https://gyazo.com/9cbca8f02fa1243fa0459b1a98d5deb9 which shows the 6 major clans of the country before the war, and the symbol for the Coterie in the middle, all as petals of the lotus.

Up top the mountain, a man lived. If you can call him a man, because many saw him as a demon, skilled in the art of weapons. He wielded any weapon with more ease than a farmer planted a seed. He was called the Grandmaster and many travelled accross the land to challenge this master of fighting. Many challenged him with large sums of money but none of them came home richer than they had come. This life wasn't enough for the Grandmaster and so, he took his kimono, his lotus hat, and his favorite weapon. He crossed the land searching for a worthy opponent to which he could pass on his lotus hat, the last remnant of his clan: The Blooming Lotus. The hat, named Great Lotus, was always worn by the best fighter of the clan, and he had won with precise strikes and savage strength. And now, the Grandmaster carrying this burden of honor, travelled in quest of a challenger and worthy heir to his title.

Choice was just an illusion for young Rowan Blankey, the child we now know as the Grandmaster. Born into the highest social order of the Capital, his father the captain of the Queen's Guards and his mother an accomplished duelist, young Rowan was expected to be nothing less than the greatest warrior. Constantly thrown into the wild with nothing but the clothes on his back and whatever weapon his parents chose. His only motive, the reason he exists, to live up to the expectations of his parents. Live up he did, for he matured to be one of the greatest warrior of his age, heir to his father's position and with enough ability to rival the Blade Master.
Notes
I gave him a name, that can be changed easily, just think the name serves justice to the piece. Also trying to form some continuity in the lore. There's a capital and Queen so far, from what I've written.

"The weapon makes the man..." the old man said with a grin while training his most promising pupil.
"From a young age, I'd been trained with weapons of various sorts, lengths, or types... Hell, some of 'em weren't even really weapons. That's not to say they didn't cause damage. I'll always remember my master telling me how your weapon is what defined you... And I'll never forget the look on his face the day I proved him wrong. The man makes the weapon, certainly. Give me anything, and I mean anything... and I'll show you how to use it to it's fullest potential."
The Grandmaster laid a piece of lumber down in front of a grave, surrounded by random objects, another trophy gifted to his old master.
"Anything is a weapon... If you know how to use it."

I liked Bunnie's too, but it follows Jax too close imo, Grandmaster doesn't show any weapons and from splash art it implies he is using martial arts similar to Lee Sin.

Main point is that if one or two persons writes them together it will follow the same story line and writing style

That sounds like a good idea InSec, and I mean, it probably wouldn't be me in any case, but I love lore. I'm trying to find ways to make them seem more full and real, with a background that leads them to a search of some kind, explaining why they fight. One for revenge in the Invisible Lady, and here for a heir to his title and worth. I don't know how to make them better, so give me tips!! I am open to anything :)

the grandmaster was once born in a hidden village in the forest of the wild, there he learned everything about the secret martial arts of the village. He was meant as a guardian to protect the village but when the barbarians came he felt nothing but pure fear and so he decided to run and abandon his family and friends. While running he looked behind him and saw the village in flames and then a terrible pain hit his chest, he knew what he did. he wandered around for several days before secretly returning to the village. When he saw the aftermath the only thing he could do was fall to his feet and see the tears rolling down his cheek, it was at this point where he decided to drop the positive games and seek revenge for what the barbarians did to him. Now he is a lone assassin lurking in the forest striking in the dark...
