I think there should be an option where we can add friends and see how they are doing in their league

Yep, a friend area along with messaging would be nice.
With that we could have actual helpers, designated for newer players, or old, to message and ask for advice when need be.
I demand sandbox matches between friends!

This is a good idea and I can tell you this much that this feature idea is already in our pipeline :)
It is in fact possible to play against anyone in sandbox. First of all your friend needs to find out his teamid by clicking on Team and then clicking on his name (http://prntscr.com/bff0ay).
Use this team id to go to: https://www.lolmanager.gg/sandbox/generate/<teamid>
And then copy the value of game_id and go to:
https://www.lolmanager.gg/games/show/<game_id>
