Player's champion mastery & perfomance correlation

If you hit the "Show more info" after you've opened a player's daily schedule page, you can find his perfomance with the champion he's been playing (mostly in Solo Queue). I was wondering whether that affected anything during his LoL games and if yes how.

So I also found the following, quoted fron the "About" page:

"keep an eye on each player’s solo queue results, as it can give you information on their current performance, both in general and on certain champions. Solo queue can be helpful in training a specific champion for this player"

Is that an official confirmation that champion mastery affects player perfomance? I am asking this as there's no analytical indication at all anywhere in the player information page (the games' results are definitely not considered).

Question: Can I get an answer on how exactly does champion mastery affect a player's game? Like, does it secretly bumb his ELO? His role stat? Other stat(s) (Aggression, Technique)?
Suggestion(s): 1) Is it possible to get a visual representation on this effect in a player's detail page? // 2) If there is no effect at all, would the game devs consider adding some feature like that in the future? I think it'd be pretty interesting, as you'd have to change his priority picks for solo queue to "train" him in different champions and also benefit those that put the effort to do so by increasing the impact of correct picking and decreasing the impact of opponent's banning in League games.

Follow-up question: Does each player, when spawn, have champions that he naturaly does better/worse with? Are we supposed to have them try their role champion to find which champions he's best at based on results, regardless of ELO/role skill level?

The rating is kinda strange. I feel like that just indicates whether your player is above or below his current elo with that champion. That rating has no real effect.

Champion Mastery is real. The only visual thing here is the game counter on the player page sadly.

Since champion mastery is rather new there is little to no intel on that and most people will keep it a secret for now.
It boosts the ingame performance in some way.

There is no natural talent now. Every player is basicly the same.

Appreciate the answer. I might be thinking about it too hard and see mechanins when none exist. I just wish there was slightly more clarity.
