I'm not sure how it could be executed but to test out the talent you scout or gain through academy, it could be neat to have Challenger team set up for scrims / sandbox. It's becoming a big thing in real life with the likes of Cloud 9 and Liquid employing it to find local talent and train them before injecting them in to their main squad.
In order to scrim with the challenger team, maybe you have to use your daily sandbox matches or coach's training points - I'm not sure but you'd need to put some sort of tradeoff in so that you are losing something in order to gain skill levels in your prospects.
TL;DR: Possibly establish a 'Challenger Team' tab where you can train and test out prospects acquired in scouting and academy.

Thanks, this is something for the future. Probably will not have that much effect atm but definitely when the players have grown stronger.
