so i did a test on my 2 smurfs. there is a age difference between the two players, one is 14 and the other is 15. i pulled the 14 year old out of the academy and gave him 8 training sessions which apparently is now the most optimal. his starting stats were 3.22 except for adc which was 3.43 i believe(already trained him once in academy). after today's update his stats were all 3.3 or 3.4 except adc which was 3.7. the trainer i used for him was an 8adc coach with 10 tech. my 15 year old player that was left in the academy also had 1 day of training before this and he went from 3.22 at all to 3.42 and 3.95 on his main role. as you can see the results are pretty similair, especially if you have a 10 main role coach for the youth player i think the stat gains are quite even. however, the 15 year old player still got more stat gain then the 14 year old player so i think it's better for now to train them in the academy, otherwise your main team get's cucked cause less / no training. in conclusion the stat increase per day on a 15! year old academy player with 100k training is around .2 to .25 ish and for his main role around .45 to .5. this also means that in 10 days you will have an 8 main role and around 5 on secondary roles. in order to get a "star"player out of this you will need around 30 days with an average stat gain of .47 this will give you a 17.1 main role with 9.6 on the rest (average gain of .22) you will need too spend 3 million on training and 300k on a 14 year old or 100k on a 15 year old player. not wurf now, mabye not wurf in the long con. your choice

I was dealing with incorrect information then. I'll update what I have to note that 100k will garner around .45 on main role. Thanks for the information menneke.
We're still dealing with a low cash time period, very few people have even earned above 1 million, (I broke this threshold today and I'm ranked seventy something). So while people are saying the players on the market are expensive, considering the stats they give and how long they till take to train, I think they're a fucking steal.
Academy seems to be the only real way to develop new talent and it will require a vibrant economy, because one academy can only focus on one thing.
Finally, since the staff/gaming house gets extremely expensive, you flat out will not have the slots to be able to train the players with coach.
I'm trying to start my academy factory asap, I think you guys should do so too.

All things considered, especially maximum efficiency. It'll be practically impossible to make 500k per day to train 5 players at 100k. I think training at 30k will be the best thing, 150k is an easy threshold and the benefits between 30k and 100k should be marginal at best.

i don't know how much difference there is between 100k and 30k training, i'd assume that it will be quite a big difference considering it's 70k more. will test that aswell, or if someone else wants to do that be my guest

I'll be testing 30k on a 15 year old once update happens again. I've held back on making smurfs, so testing is kind of a risk for me. :/
Nevertheless, I'll be starting with my academy at the next update.
Considering it mirrors the price for the initial academy player, I don't think it'll be that much of a difference because the initial only scales by 1 year. Nevertheless testing will tell us soon enough.
Also thank you for not keeping this behind your club wall.

Haha I thought this was going to be our secret strats :(

A few questions:
* is the age of the player determined by initial investment? (any randomness or just straight $0=18yo, $10k=17yo) * do all youth players come as straight 3's? * how long is a year (I mean: how many daily updates make a year?) * are the stat gains random at all or just determined by training investment and possibly age of player)
If the answers to these questions are: yes, yes, around 30 and yes, then I think I'll wait to start investing in my youth academy until I have built up my facilities and cash more.

-every investment stage is one year - they are all 3s - 1 year = 1 seasion ~<one month - age and investment

0.35 in main with 30k investment on 15 year old. 0.26 in main with 10k investment on 15 year olds.

Further information makes me think more numbers are involved.
I believe it's 0.265 and 0.355 for 10k/30k on a 15 year old.
