REMINDER: Selling players to your alternative account in Market is considered CHEATING

Refer to this post: https://www.lolmanager.gg/community/forum/topic/show/457

Not to point out any names, but I just saw someone sold a player to his alternative account for 110k in the market place. That player has already been reported by me.

So if you are thinking of farming cash through market transaction between your two accounts,
STOP.
This is considered CHEATING, and is UNFAIR to other players.
Repeated actions will possibly result in a FORCED RESET or BAN.

Rules WILL be written and released soon, but please keep in mind that transacting between two of your accounts is CHEATING.

Lol I didn't thought that someone can be that dumb xD

I have been watching this through the top 100 list of biggest financial income/top money list.

BIGGEST SIGNS
- Two teams play each other more then any other team in sandbox mode.
- One account/team is spending more money on a individual day then the other, and so the other account is just farming/saving currency.
- One account will have a much higher elo as one account has a majority of star players, coaching and managing staff.

I have already started reporting a few accounts that are a bit suspicious of doing this already - If you want me to take a look, feel free to Private message me.

I've done some reports too but i'm not sure they are usefull now, devs are already busy with much works. Maybe the community managers should be in charge of this ?
1
there are no community managers, i think
1
There are. Or at least, there were, in the beta. I don't know if they are still actual.

i saw the same thing. and i dont care about the name.. but indeed making profit of this... i see in allot of managergames.... it is easy. both accounts rip from their team or suspend and after 1 final warning for the player if he starts new team. second time he or she does it. instant ban. it's easy as that.

Just going to put this out there, there is 1 very easy way for the devs to detect if a player has 2 accounts or not. While having 2 accounts is not wrong in itself, bidding on any of your own players is. It would be an awful shame for your account to get banned for doing this, so please do not do this.

There is also a hidden cheating detection that automatically flags suspicions transactions. You may already be under watch if you are cheating.

Okay... the guy I reported from before managed to come up with an elaborate scheme. He made multiple accs and sold all their star players on market place for quick 200-300k (which explains the large amounts of players with 15+ stats that no one in their right minds would sell.)
THEN, he placed a random player on market place from his main account, have all the other accs place bets on the same guy to make it look legit. Except there is absolutely nothing legit about 10 people willing to place 200-300k on a player with average 5-7 stats...

In a way, this makes the game pretty deep. It kindda replicates the shady managers that exist in real life. I think I'm getting the same rage that real life managers feel when they realized the fact that their opponent is using illegal methods to gain advantages.

Well... you know, some of the best player here used these methods in beta to climb, so i don't expect much punishment for theses cheaters :/

We have all the data and know who is cheating, someone just needs to analyse it and confirm. Most probably we will make a bigger manual scan just before the prized tournament.

Our problem atm is that It will just take stupid amount of time to manually confirm it. We are actively looking solutions how to prevent this and also for our resource problems.

uhhhhh no not really, in beta the better player got ahead because youth academy was op at the start, but not everyone abused that then
1
I didn't say that all good player abused this little hack... i said that "some" of them were reported back then because of it and are still there. Because, as the devs stated, it take too much time and isn't on the agenda right now. It's unfair but it's like that at the moment, and we can't blame anyone about it.

But as I said Netstand, why not give the right to analyse to the community managers ? Are they still there by the way ?

We don't have any community managers anymore. The ones that we had in beta had to leave unfortunately. Anyone volunteering to help us ?
1
I'm sure you'd find a bunch of us old guard players looking to help. I for one am more than willing to help. I play on three accounts as most people know, so I am on here all the time.
1
Same here ^^

I really wanted to donate but I can't register my card on PayPal.
So I'm looking for any other way to help as best as I can. <3
